This collapsed stable was rebuilt into a log store using existing granite. Cavities with golf-ball sized entrances were constructed into the gable ends to provide homes for nesting birds.

Tyne slate laid vertically in rows between Granite posts - slivers driven between coursed uprights compress outward against the adjacent quoin providing remarkable durability and strength.

This twin-faced boundary wall with fence was constructed using mortar and hammered granite from Lantoom, featuring an earth filled planting trough with drainage, an integrated slate bench and gated quoins.
